An Autumn Outdoor Family Shoot in Oxford

It was really exciting planning this shoot with Angela and her family a few weeks ago. I’d just found the most amazing location for an Autumn family shoot, just a few minutes drive from Oxford in Shotover Country Park and couldn’t wait to get up there! Angela and Toby have two lovely children, Islay and Beau, both of whom were enjoying an afternoon in the blustery outdoors, just before the weather turned that bit colder. Not forgetting of course their beautiful African dog Zola. SEE IMAGES

Ella’s Back to School Mini Session

Another lovely little mini session with adorable Ella! This spirited four-year-old was about to start Primary School so we had a fun time in a local nature reserve capturing this milestone and the brand new clean uniform! I also have it on Mummy’s authority that Ella was awarded the ‘Star of the Week’ after her first few days! Well done Ella! x  SEE IMAGES

Edith’s Pre-School Mini Session

Edie is very nearly two and about to start Pre-School, and to celebrate this important milestone in her life we spent a little while in her garden practising the activities she’ll no doubt be doing a lot of once she starts! Edie’s Dad is a photographer too and so she knows exactly what to do when the camera comes out.

Kudos also to Edie’s mum Clare who let her loose with the paints on the patio!  -SEE IMAGES>

The Hodgson Family Shoot

At the height of the great British summer (and we’ve been waiting a while for that to appear!) what better than going for a walk amongst the tall grass and looking for wildflowers? That’s just what Susanne and Mark did last Sunday with their two boys and I was lucky enough to join them to share in their fun family afternoon.  SEE IMAGES

BLOG POST | Oxford | The Malloy Spring Bluebell Family Shoot

Lena is Amy and Tony’s first child and was about to be Christened, so Amy and Tony decided to have a family photoshoot among the bluebells in the stunning bluebell woods between Oxford and Abingdon. We had loads of fun in the flowers as Amy and Tony tried desperately to stop Lena from picking and eating them! Lena’s pictures went on the wall at the Christening reception with smiles and giggles all round.  SEE IMAGES

BLOG POST: Family shoot in Wolvercote Orchard, Oxford

It was wonderful to spend a couple of hours with this young family a couple of Saturdays ago. They approached me and asked if I would be able to mark their son’s approaching first birthday with a family shoot, with the aim of giving the final printed images as Christmas presents. With the turning of the seasons the orchard was the perfect place for colour and a variety of backdrops and we had fun playing with the fallen apples, including trying some as well! SEE IMAGES

BLOG POST: Chloe’s Christening and First Birthday

Chloe’s mum Carly got in touch with me a couple of months ago after discovering some of my photography on Facebook, and booked me to document her daughter Chloe’s christening and first birthday party. The ceremony was in a lovely little church on a private estate just west of Bicester and with a party in a nearby pub. Despite a slightly soggy episode at the font, Chloe was thoroughly the centre of attention all day and looked like she was having a blast! It was great to be part of this special day of her early life. SEE IMAGES
